With Ameritas RewardsSM, dental plan members who visit the dentist at least once a year and use a specified portion of their annual maximum benefit earn Dental Rewards that help pay for future dental procedures. When employers add at least one more benefit, members can use the rewards they earn to help pay for additional services.
Members who visit an Ameritas dental network provider can earn an additional PPO Bonus reward. Employee Well-being Individuals and groups with more than 300 members enrolled in an Ameritas dental plan can receive a dental health report card developed with University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Any member with a dental plan in place for at least 12 months can access the personalized report online through their secure member account. Dental health is scored based on claims and procedures submitted while covered under the plan. The report offers suggestions for improving dental health. Employers also find out how plan members’ dental health rates overall. They’ll gain insights into why dental health is a priority and receive educational information to share with employees.
Convenience Ameritas provides an online dental cost estimator to access cost estimates for out-of-network dentists. Ameritas also provides an online directory of network dentists with contracted fees by area. All network dentists must complete a strict credentialing process to be included in the directory.
