Health & Safety

COVID AND HEALTH PROTOCOLS (As of April 2022, Subject to Change)

  • We intend to provide a conference experience that is safe, valuable, and welcoming. To that end, we have the following rules on vaccinations, testing, and masks in place. Please direct all inquiries to info@StrategicHRus.com.
    • Conference participants will agree to the following:
      1. On arrival at the Samoset, I will provide either proof of vaccination against COVID-19 OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test. (If a PCR test, it can be no more than 3 days prior to arrival; if an Antigen test, it can be no more than 1 day prior to arrival). Proof may be in print or digital form.
      2. At this time, masking is not required but is recommended. As a conference participant, I will be respectful of the needs of people around me and follow any additional health and safety requirements of the Samoset Resort or the Conference should circumstances change.
      3. I will not attend (or will remove myself) from the conference if I experience any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, including fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, shortness of breath, recent changes in sense of taste or smell, or gastrointestinal distress, et al.
      4. I understand and recognize that contact with other individuals at the Maine HR Convention may increase my risk of contracting COVID-19 and transmitting it to others, and I voluntarily give up all claims and any right to sue Northern New England Law Publishers, Inc. dba Strategic HR U.S. and the Maine HR Convention and their employees, directors, and volunteers relative to COVID-19.

Cancellation Policy

  • Attendees may always substitute another in their place at no charge. All cancellation requests must be received in writing. For cancellations received by February 1, 2022, we will provide a refund less a 10% service charge. For cancellations received by March 1, 2022, we will provide a 50% refund. Cancellations after March 1, 2022 are not entitled to refund or credit, however, Strategic HR U.S. has the discretion to issue a refund/credit for medical or personal emergencies on a case-by-case basis. In the event that Strategic HR U.S. cancels the conference in full, attendees are entitled to a refund or credit.
