Amy is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, receiving her B.S. in Health Management and Policy in 1990. She began her career in workers’ compensation as a Claims Adjuster for MGA Insurance in Waterville, ME, then accepted a position at Cianbro Corporation in 1992 as they transitioned to become a self-insured, self-administered employer for all Maine claims. Amy helped develop the in-house program and now works as the Corporate Disability Claims Manager, handling Maine self-insured claims. She also works closely with adjusters from Travelers Insurance managing claims in all other states for Cianbro as well as Starcon, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cianbro Companies. Amy’s responsibilities include coordinating injury and claim management with job site safety, project management, and outside providers to provide the best care and prompt recovery for Cianbro and Starcon team members. She is a presenter at Cianbro’s annual safety development training. Amy also serves as a board member of the Workers’ Comp Coordinating Council and the Maine Self-Insured Guarantee Association.
