Carol Schoneberg

Carol Schoneberg has been an end-of-life educator for close to 25 years and has served as the Bereavement Services Manager for Hospice of Southern Maine since 2004. Carol’s role is managing the bereavement benefit included with hospice care under Medicare for Hospice of Southern Maine patients and their families as well as anyone in the community who has suffered the loss of a loved one.

Her work includes in-house trainings for some Maine’s largest and most respected employers, management of support groups, and one-on-one counseling. Carol is also a skilled facilitator, acting as one of the principal panelists in Hospice of Southern Maine’s annual series of community forums and produces the performance piece, B.O.A.T.I.N.G. in Maine.

She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Vermont College and attended graduate school at George Washington University. Carol now resides in Maine.
