
Connor’s practice primarily focuses on civil litigation, employment, and commercial real estate matters. He handles complex litigation on a range of corporate matters in both state and federal court, and was recently the lead attorney on a federal civil rights jury trial that resulted in a verdict for his client. Connor’s employment practice is geared towards providing practical guidance to businesses. He has extensive experience drafting handbook policies, noncompetition agreements, and severance agreements as well as advising businesses on complying with various employment laws and regulations. Additionally, he is an editor of Maine Employment Law Letter, a widely circulated monthly employment law newsletter. Connor also represents businesses in connection with commercial leasing matters. He has helped a major national retailer draft and negotiate dozens of complex retail store leases throughout the country.
Connor is active in the local community, serving on the Steering Committee of “Uplift LA,” the rising professionals’ group of Lewiston/Auburn. He also volunteers as the head coach of the nationally ranked Bowdoin College Mock Trial Team, a position he has held since 2013. In his free time, he can often be found exploring one of Maine’s many hiking or running trails.
