Jared Payton

Jared joined MEMIC’s Claim Department in 1996 and has served in a number of progressive roles.  As MEMIC’s Claim Service Manager, he and his team are responsible for managing the service needs of MEMIC’s large policyholders throughout the country.  Jared has also overseen MEMIC’s Medicare Set-Aside program for over 10 years.  He is considered an expert on mitigation strategies that allow for successful claim resolutions.

Jared is a graduate of Bowdoin College.  When he’s not navigating thorny Medicare or account management issues, he can be found on a yoga mat either teaching or practicing at Portland-area yoga studios or exploring the great Maine beaches with his wife and dogs.
