Kate Simmons is a director of partnerships at the Roux Institute, where she supports industry partners in leveraging educational, research, and entrepreneurship programs at the Roux Institute to drive business goals. Simmons spent the early part of her career running electoral field campaigns across the country. In Maine, she has led campaigns at the state and federal level, serving as chief of staff for the house majority leader in the Maine State House and founding Emerge Maine, a non-profit focused on training women to run and win electoral campaigns.
