As a Senior Manager at BerryDunn Wealth Management, Kathy collaborates with businesses to craft retirement plan solutions that help them manage their fiduciary requirements while ensuring the plan is effective in helping their employees prepare for a successful retirement. She provides top-notch service to clients on matters related to financial planning, investments, and insurance. Kathy serves as the compliance coordinator, ensuring that BerryDunn Wealth Management complies with the ever-evolving regulatory structure.
Kathy began her career working for MDS Bankmark, a third-party marketing firm and fully licensed broker/dealer, where she worked with senior bank executives to implement the operational and service needs required for each bank’s investment program. She then joined NorthStar Retirement Strategies, which later became BerryDunn Wealth Management.
Kathy and her husband lived aboard their 40-foot sailboat in Portland Harbor for several years. In May 2014, after 17 years at BerryDunn Wealth Management, Kathy left to pursue a lifelong dream she and her husband had to take an extended cruise on their sailboat. In April 2016, Kathy and her husband became landlubbers once again. They sold their boat to build their dream house and become “gentlemen farmers,” on the property they purchased in New Gloucester, Maine.
Kathy re-joined the BerryDunn Wealth Management team in January 2017. Kathy holds her FINRA Series 6, 7, 24 and 66 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®, member FINRA/SIPC.
