Katie works for People’s United Bank, focusing on business and community development. As a community leader, Katie is a SCORE mentor, an organizer and fundraising chair of Maine Startup Week, and is active in economic development initiatives to help foster innovation and entrepreneurship such as House of Genius and Maine Accelerates Growth (MxG). She also serves as a facilitator for Elect Her, a program that trains college women to run for student government and leadership positions. Before returning to her home state of Maine, Katie lived in Washington, DC and San Francisco, CA. She earned a B.A. in Government from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. She enjoys training for triathlons, cooking, and spending time with family.
