Katie Vaillancourt works with clients to develop and deliver customized
training solutions. For over five years Katie has been working as a consultant to evaluate and balance: organizational goals, the learner’s needs, timeline, resources and tools. She enjoys working with organizations to develop business skills, improve leadership and management teams, and create new hire and ongoing workplace education programs.
Previously, Katie was the Corporate Training Manager at Contech Engineered Solutions where she worked for over 10 years. Working for a large organization as an in-house trainer and manager afforded Katie the opportunity to work closely with all departments. At Contech she effectively defined, developed, coordinated, implemented and refined company training programs and initiatives. She led managers on company best practices and methods to educate their teams on products, process and tools. Other areas of focus included sales, communication, on-boarding programs and coaching skills. She leveraged learning tools (LMS, intranet, webinars, discussion boards, etc.) to accomplish goals reaching over 1200 employees at numerous locations.
Today Katie applies her knowledge and past experiences to customize training solutions to meet her client’s learning needs. She also works with clients to develop a corporate learning strategy and infrastructure. Katie is an active member of the Maine Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD)
