Laura Bosse

With a career at Geiger spanning four decades, Laura Bosse currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources.  She is responsible for the Human Resources, Office Services and Organizational Development Departments, and the activities of the on-site contract Nurse and Continuous Improvement Manager.  Laura has a broad base of knowledge and experience in compliance with employment laws, benefit administration, training and development, experiential team building, safety and wellness, workers’ compensation, lean manufacturing (continuous improvement), and employee relations.

Laura has a degree in Business Administration, holds the designation of Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute, and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).  Outside of the HR profession, Laura is a certified Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) through the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), and she also holds the Geiger internal certification of Continuous Improvement Leader (CIL).  In 2011, Laura was inducted into the Maine HR Hall of Fame through the Maine State Chapter of SHRM, for her service and contributions to the HR profession.
