Strategic HR at Mt. Washington: October 22-24 in Bretton Woods, NH

Laura Gee

Laura Gee is a behavioral economist with a broad interest in how we can design institutions to influence individual decisions when individual decisions are intertwined with the actions of a group. Much of her research has explored this issue in two settings: the provision of public goods and job searching in the labor market. Her overarching objectives have been (a) to test mechanisms that increase the provision of public goods, such as those provided by nonprofit organizations, and (b) to advance our understanding of how job seekers search for jobs using newly available data from online sources like Facebook and LinkedIn. Her work has been featured on Forbes, CBS News, NPR, TedX, Fast Company, and Bloomberg News.
