Lorraine Goffe

Lorraine Goffe, a human resources leader with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, is vice president for human resources and chief human resources officer at Penn State.

Goffe has broad experience in organizational leadership and change, workforce development, performance management, employee benefits, compensation, employee relations, HR analytics and technology, and more.

Prior to her most recent appointment as vice president for human resources at Penn State, Goffe served as vice president for human resources at MIT. Goffe also spent 15 years at Washington University in St. Louis where she held various leadership positions ending as Vice Chancellor for Human Resources. In addition to higher education experience, Goffe has served as an HR leader in private industry as well as health care.
