Maryanne Spatola joined Solix in May 2015 as the SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer. She is a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team responsible for defining, developing, and implementing strategic human resources and innovative business-related initiatives that align with the organization’s vision, mission, and strategic goals. Maryanne partners with leaders across the organization to strengthen a unique culture of high performance and to develop Solix employees to realize their fullest potential. She has dotted line reporting to the Human Resources Committee of the Board of Directors. Maryanne leads the Human Resources function with a team of talented HR professionals focused on organizational design, talent management, leadership development, strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, functional training, culture and engagement, compensation and benefit programs, HRIS, employee relations, and compliance to State and Federal employment laws for Solix and its subsidiaries at all work locations in the US.
Prior to joining the company, she was the vice president, organizational effectiveness at Selective Insurance Company of America. Previously Maryanne was the director of learning & organizational development at Crum & Forster and worked in a variety of roles at the Chubb Corporation for over 22 years.
Ms. Spatola holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from New York University, NY and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, NJ. Maryanne is also earned a Certificate in Evidence Based Coaching for Organization Leadership from Fielding Graduate School. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the New Jersey Organizational Development Network (NJODN). Ms. Spatola holds the designations of SHRM-SCP, Senior Human Resource Professional (SPHR), Master Human Capital Strategist (MHCS) and Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
Maryanne loves to read, sitting on the beach and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is involved with HR professional communities, associations, and loves to connect with other professionals. Maryanne is an adjunct faculty member at NYU teaching Human Capital and Leadership courses and recently was named by NJBIZ as one of the Best 50 Business Women in New Jersey.
