Maya is a consultant with Peoplism, an end-to-end D&I+ firm. She has experience in Sales, Customer Success, and HR, and she has spent the majority of her career in education technology. As one of the only black identifying women within many organizations, Maya partnered with colleagues and business leaders to identify inequitable and exclusive systems, policies, and practices. She also founded DEI programs at each of her previous companies to help support employees and in doing this work, she developed an even bigger passion for making sure all employees feel recognized, valued, and heard. Today, she leads trainings and process change implementations with companies across the globe to help them improve their DEIB practices and policies.
