Michelle Hale

As Project Consultant for Maine Career Connect, Michelle is supporting the development and implementation of programming in the Bangor region as well as facilitating business development growth in other regions of the state.

Michelle was the Founding Project Leader of Maine Career Connect under the University of Maine in 2014, turning the program over to Carin’s capable hands in 2015. Michelle continued to support Maine Career Connect as an advisory council member until recently when Michelle’s return to employment at the University of Maine as an HR partner allowed for the opportunity to provide consultation as part of her current role.

Michelle has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Husson University along with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maine. In addition, Michelle holds certifications in professional coaching and as a trainer for Crossing Cultures with Competence. Michelle’s work experience includes more than a decade of nonprofit program management and development along with human resources activities including recruitment, career development and workforce planning.

Michelle is active in the Bangor region participating as a steering committee member for the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce FUSION:Bangor program and a past participant of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute. Michelle lives in Bangor with husband, Elliott and children, Allison and Owen.
