Ron Schneider is a shareholder at Bernstein Shur in Portland. His practice focuses on employment law in the education, health care, and social service industry but has represented employers in many different industries. He provides advice and counsel and litigates disputes in both state and federal court.
A graduate of Bates College, Mr. Schneider earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Maine School of Law where he was a member and author of the Law Review and a legal writing instructor. Prior to beginning his practice, Mr. Schneider was a law clerk for the Maine Superior Court in Portland. He is admitted to practice in Maine and New Hampshire and is a member of the Maine and New Hampshire State associations. He also serves as a Commissioner on the Maine Commission on Indigent Legal Services.
