Sara Archie

Sara began her insurance career at MEMIC in June of 2016 as a Nurse Case Manager after spending 15 years working in direct patient care. In 2017, she was promoted to her current role as Complex Injury Nurse Case Manager. In this role she manages catastrophic and complex claims, as well as prepares medical cost projections.  Prior to MEMIC, Sara worked in various specialty medical units, including emergency/trauma care, intensive care, and cardiothoracic intensive care in hospitals throughout out central Maine.

Sara is a graduate of the University of Maine at Fort Kent and holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. She successfully completed her Certified Nurse Life Care Planning designation in 2019. Sara has volunteered as part of the Cristo Salvo outreach organization, delivering healthcare to underprivileged communities in Honduras, as well as administering COVID-19 vaccinations through Maine Health. Sara was a Daisy Award nominee, for nursing excellence at Maine General Hospital in 2012.

Sara resides in Brunswick, Maine with her husband and 2 dogs. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Maine coast and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
