Toby has been employed with L.L.Bean, Inc. for more than 28 years, currently serving as the company’s Sr. Employee Relations Consultant. Toby’s role includes conducting a wide variety of workplace investigations as a member of the company’s Human Resources Team. Toby also works as an Independent Investigator and Human Resources Consultant outside of L.L.Bean, conducting investigations and mediations for private and public employers in Maine on a wide range of matters including complaints of harassment, discrimination and other serious workplace conduct matters. Toby also possesses nearly 30 years of experience as a licensed Private Investigator in the State of Maine (Maine uses the title “Professional Investigator”), specializing in locating missing people, evidence collection and witness interviews.
