Behavioral Data, Machine Learning, and Everything In Between: The Next Generation of Evidence-Based HR

Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 @ 10:15 am - 11:45 am

This session is currently full.

What’s it all about? The ideal number of interviews for a candidate. Optimal department size. Better management of maternity leave. Creation of a 15% more productive on-boarding agenda. These are just a handful of company-wide actions employed as a direct result of insights produced by Google’s People Analytics – a team built to collect behavioral data and optimize workforce practices.

With increased accessibility and tech advancements, data is no longer a luxury in the world of human capital management. Eric Felsberg joins us to discuss the latest in HR data science, and demonstrate how to utilize these strategies to test, analyze, and validate practices in your organization. Learn the basics: What is behavioral data and why do we need it? Then tackle the “how” by finding key points in your employee’s life-cycle to employ these tactics, from candidacy to performance management. And, get a taste for how machine learning and AI will impact the workforce landscape in the years ahead.

Why you’ll want to participate in this session.

  • Discover which metrics are important to collect, track, and analyze for the strongest economic and behavioral impact on your organization and why.
  • Learn to analyze and package data to empower the workforce with evidence-based best practices.
  • Develop an understanding of machine learning and AI, and the intersection with HR.
