WORKSHOP D: How Coaching Can Help You Move Mountains

Monday, October 29th, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 11:45 am

From Your Board, to Your Boss, to your Best Self

What’s your mountain to move? Are you trying to inspire your board toward a new course that will get your organization noticed in the marketplace? Working to influence your boss to buy-in to your ideas for leadership and change? Struggling to bring your authentic, best self to your work as a human resources leader? Coaching can help when you’re at the cross-roads, whether your mountain is public or personal. But with so many coaching options to choose from, how do you know which one will lead to the best results for the best investment of your time, energy and budget? What do you want to transform and how can coaching support your vision and bold goals, for your organization, your people, and yourself?

Join this workshop with Adriana Bellerose and Lisa Prior, and you will leave with:

  • Evidence about how coaching transforms people and places.
  • Ideas and approaches for how you can integrate coaching as a powerful part of the employee experience in a way that is a win-win for your people and your organization.
  • Practical tools you can begin using now to assess whether coaching is right for you, your team, your organization, and to pinpoint the best approaches for a variety of situations.

A 2017 study by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) found that the CHRO is the least likely C-Suite executive to take advantage of the benefits of a coach. When you sign up for this session, you will have access to a coach who will work with you personally in a one-on-one session during the Retreat.

Coaching illuminates personal awareness and insights to help you move something forward. You can only move mountains if you are personally transformed. To change the organization or a team, the journey begins with yourself. We’re excited to have you join the conversation, where you will gain a better view and deeper set of personal tools for your own leadership excursion.

Approved for SHRM credit and HRCI general (HR) credit.
