Doing the DEI Work
In this interactive hour, Lillian Medville will take volunteers through a modified version of her critically acclaimed social justice game. We’ll use real-life scenarios to prompt challenging discussions related to equity and the various types of privilege. Volunteers will engage each other’s perspectives, delve into their own, and utilize personal knowledge and experience to practice how to have these conversations in productive ways. Get ready to get comfortable with the uncomfortable as we build awareness of our own unconscious (and conscious) bias.
